Having trained on his own for many years while teaching and presiding over the Grenada Taekwondo Association, Mr. Charles has medaled in several international competitions.

Following a full athletic scholarship to Duquesne University in the USA, Ms. St. Bernard earned a law degree from the University of Toronto and now practices with McMillan Binch Mendelsohn LLP.

The GTA was first established in the early ‘90s but ceased operation in 1999 when the former administration migrated. In 2003, the former President of the Pan American Taekwondo Union and the Vice President of the World Taekwondo Federation Dr. Cha Sok Park approached Mr. Fronzie Charles about getting the organization back on track and developing individuals for the Olympics.
