True to its promise, LIME has assisted the vendors who suffered loss during the fire which ravaged the Grenville Vendors Market on June 29th. On Thursday July 15,  the company gave vouchers to all of the affected vendors entitling them to $100 top up and three (3) months free fixed line rental.

In addition, a cheque in the sum of $10,000 was presented to Acting Prime Minister Nazim Burke for the Government of Grenada as an initial contribution towards the rebuilding  of the vendors market. Making the presentation Corporate Communications Manager, Josephine Walters noted that “as a caring corporate citizen, we at LIME are pleased to assist you, the vendors in this time of need. You can count on us to be there for you.”

Commenting on the assistance provided by LIME, a representative of the vendors said “this would help us quite a bit.  It means we have to pay one bill less and we are able to keep in touch with each other using our cell phones as well. We are really thankful to LIME.” Parliamentary Representative for St. Andrew’s South East, Patrick Simmons remarked “We welcome this gesture from LIME. LIME has proven that they are truly a partner and friend.”
