A St. Andrew’s man who was on the run for nearly one-week surrendered himself to the Grenville Police on Tuesday. Akim Teron Templeman was wanted by the police since last week Thursday in connection with the offense of robbery with violence. A source close to the police told The New Today newspaper that the wanted man called the police and alerted them about his whereabouts.
The 28-year old from Harford Village, St. Andrew’s is accused of violently attacking Tom Wilkins of Tuilleries, St. Andrew’s in the Town of Grenville. Informed sources said Wilkins had just made a large withdrawal of just over $30,000.00 from one of the financial institutions in Grenville when he was mobbed by Templeman.
