Police are investigating a case of alleged incest in St. Paul’s, St. George’s at the start of September. An authoritative source told THE NEW TODAY newspaper that a 37 year-old construction worker is accused of having sexual intercourse with his ten-year old niece sometime between September 1 and 2.
The source who did not want to be named said the young lady was at her uncle’s house in St. Paul’s when the incident reportedly took place. The victim is said to have complained to her mother about the sexual encounter with the uncle.
This newspaper was told that a report filed with the police indicated that before engaging in the sexual intercourse with the young one, the uncle placed his niece on his leg and began fondling her breast and vagina. He later removed her underwear to engage in the sexual act. The police are said to be still investigating the matter with a view to pressing charges against the suspect shortly.
