Bus accident in St. David's

Several passengers onboard a red Toyota bus, HG746, were rushed to the General Hospital Wednesday morning after the bus overturned.
According to reports reaching The New Today, the accident occurred after 7:00 a.m. in La Sagesse, St David's.
From all indications, the accident appeared to have resulted from a mechanical problem. Brakes pad were visibly seen on the roadway.
The bus rolled over the hill, landing near to a house and an agricultural plot.
Passengers including two secondary school students sustained injuries as well as the driver of the bus, who sustained a head injury.
In an unrelated incident in the same area on Wednesday morning, a female bystander awaiting a bus was knocked down by a car.
She was also rushed to the St David’s Health Centre for medial assistance.
Up to press time the condition of the passengers were not yet known, however both incidents are being investigated by the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF).
