Tuesday 30^th August, 2011: The Youth Arm of the New National Party takes this opportunity to congratulate Grenada’s premier athletes who have proudly represented their homeland at the World Athletic Championships held in Daegu South Korea.

We first would like to commend Mr. Kirani James and his family for the pride they have instilled in the hearts of Grenada’s youth with his gold medal the first for our beloved country at this level. We also take the opportunity to congratulate Mr. Rondell Bartholomew and his family on his valiant attempt as well at these games.

Undeniably we of the New National Party Youth Arm believe that these young men are an inspiration to be emulated by other youth of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique and we look forward to more success from and for team Grenada in the future.

We also take this opportunity to extend best of luck to Ms. Janelle Redhead as she pursues gold in the Women’s 200 metre later this week.
